Options Assistant Output
The Options Assistant can create a comma-delimited file designed for "recovery" into the Fourth Shift MSS Custom Products Maintenance screen (CPMT).  For a complete explanation consult your Fourth Shift Import Manual.

The symbols and components selected can be saved in an Access Database.

Fourth Shift Setup
The following DVUD should be created within Fourth Shift in order to extract the correct information:
VIEW NAME: REF
MASTER VIEW: ITEM
SUB-VIEW: ITEM REFERENCE
CRITERIA: ALL
(Use F8 and ALT-M to select all fields for export)
The following BSETs should be created:

ID:Whatever you like. (Should be run nightly)

ID:Whatever you like. (This will be called from BAMT)

Where:

RULEFULE.RUL is your rule file name and COMT.SYM is you symbol file

Sequence 10 would call the preconditioning program CUTS.EXE and sequence 20 the Options Assistant. You should then create BAMTs for all of the screens that you wish to run the Options Assistant. Finally you must use the recovery feature (RCVR) of Fourth Shift to "import" the selected components. Other options may be required depending on your implementation and needs.

ID:Whatever you like. (This may be run contiually)
