Options Assistant
The Options Assistant is the end-user program allowing users to navigate the questions and objects you have created. It can be called from Fourth Shift, as part of the Dry Run feature, or as a stand alone program.
Users will indicate their answers to the questions by typing responses to the questions or selecting one of the predefined options. Some question windows display user input questions, such as "What is the height in inches?", that allow the user to input the answer into a box. The answer is checked against Range Expressions to insure that the answer is valid. Other windows give the end user a list of possible choices to a question, as shown to the left.

When user input answers are expected the box at the bottom of the question window will display conditions that the answers must satisfy ("Input must satisfy:> 10 AND <100."). Pressing the next button will move the "Assistant" forward to the next question in the series.

The Options Assistant can contain any structure of questions, each with possible input boxes or choices for the end user. With the ability to check each answer against certain criteria, accuracy is guaranteed.

At the end of the list of questions a summary screen can be displayed. From here users can double check their responses to all of the questions asked and return to any mistakes by pressing the previous button. By pressing the finish button the Options Assistant is completed and the information is retained.
